This book has been called a Rom-Com, but it’s so much more. Besides, how many romantic comedies are about a man trying to woo back his wife after she discovers his illicit affairs? Anyway, this humorous look at a failed relationship and the struggles to mend it features Richard, a British ex-pat living in Paris with his French wife and daughter. He’s also an artist who discovers he can make money if he sells out his talent and vision to produce something that will match people’s couches and make them feel good to look at. So as Richard struggles to find love as enticing as lust in order to re-commit himself to being a family man again, he also struggles to embrace his muse to create works art that he, himself, will appreciate.
